DISGRACED reality star Stephen Bear could be in trouble with the law again after being snapped holding his mobile while driving.

The convicted sex offender, 34, was released on licence in January, halfway through his 21-month sentence for posting a secretly-filmed sex tape of his ex Georgia Harrison, 29, online.

Our exclusive pictures show the Ex on the Beach contestant with only one hand on the steering wheel of his black BMW 325i with personalised plates.

The former roofer had taken his sporty coupe out for a spin this week before allegedly breaking road laws while driving in his home town of Walthamstow, North East London.

He can be seen holding the phone near his face, with one hand on the wheel – although it is unclear if he is talking.

It is illegal to hold and use a phone, sat nav, tablet or any device that can send or receive data while driving.

The UK Government website adds: “This means you must not use a device in your hand for any reason, whether online or offline.”

You can’t go to prison for using a phone while driving, but Bear is currently on probation and could face ending up back behind bars if he breaches conditions of his licence or parole.

Bear’s car’s personalised reg – “BI9 8EAR” – is worth £6,000, with Bear having listed it as for sale on a registration transfer website.

He was ordered to pay ex Ms Harrison £27,000 by the courts after her sex tape hell.

Self-proclaimed “billionaire” Bear previously claimed he was on Jobseeker’s Allowance and could only afford to pay £10-a-week due to his financial struggles.

Using a phone while driving

It’s illegal to hold and use a phone, sat nav, tablet, or any device that can send or receive data, while driving or riding a motorcycle.

This means you must not use a device in your hand for any reason, whether online or offline.

For example, you must not text, make calls, take photos or videos, or browse the web.

The law still applies to you if you’re:

  • stopped at traffic lights
  • queuing in traffic
  • supervising a learner driver
  • driving a car that turns off the engine when you stop moving
  • holding and using a device that’s offline or in flight mode

You can use a device held in your hand if:

  • you need to call 999 or 112 in an emergency and it’s unsafe or impractical to stop
  • you’re safely parked
  • you’re making a contactless payment in a vehicle that is not moving, for example at a drive-through restaurant
  • you’re using the device to park your vehicle remotely

He allegedly has just “£60,000 in a house and little else” to his name.

Bear, who sold his home while in prison, indicated he “doesn’t want a single penny” to go to his ex-girlfriend.

It comes after he put a range of tracksuits on sale, which he bought from Temu for £11.95 and embossed with the words “Mexican Cartel”.

He’s then flogging them for upwards of £29 on Instagram and a website set up in February.

This means he’d have to sell 1,000 copies of the branded gear, which is made in his parents’ home.

At the time the video was uploaded, he was “pretending to be a billionaire on his Twitter account” selling sexual content.

Bear was previously told to pay Ms Harrison £207,000 in damages for the leak on a “grand scale” after she took him to the High Court in a separate civil case.

He was also slapped with an injunction preventing him from using the footage again.

The Sun has contacted Bear’s representative for comment.
